A P Shape bath is typically used for showering. It is wider at one end - the tap end - than the other to create enough space for the user to stand in for showering. There are bends in the sides of the bath to create the extra width (as opposed to an L shape bath, which is used for the same purpose but has 90 degree corners to create the extra width). You will normally need a p-shape bath screen to stop water escaping from the shower and possibly front and end bath panels too.
