Beat the Shower Tray Supply Issues

Shower Tray supply issues and how to work around them.

At the moment there are shortages of shower trays. This is due to 2 factors.

During the last year, China had a policy of lockdowns meaning that many Chinese factories have been closed. This had a direct impact on stocks of many products – not just shower trays – in the UK. China has now relaxed its policy but that has led to an increase in Covid so even though factories have reopened, they are understaffed.

But there is also a shortage of raw materials. So even shower trays that are made in the UK are subject to shortages. Many shower trays are not available immediately from stock.

The best way to avoid issues is to plan well in advance. Even the trays that are not in stock are normally available within 4 weeks.

If you need something sooner, we are often able to supply a suitable alternative from our wide range of trays. We sell trays from MX Trays, Kudos, April, Just Trays, RefleXion and of course our own brand trays. So we can normally find an alternative that is available at short notice.

Our full range of shower trays can be found here.
