There are many water filters on the market, and all models are of state-of-the-art design to prevent particles such as rust and sand from ingressing your home's domestic water supply system. The pertinent standards even make installing such a filter mandatory for every home's domestic water supply system. But installation of the filter alone is only half the battle, as all filters have one thing in common: the filter elements aren't backflushed or replaced regularly because doing so is in many cases too complex a task. And this poses a major problem for hygiene in drinking water supply lines.
BWT has developed an ingenious solution with its BWT E1 single-lever filter a protective filter offering innovative advantages in terms of convenience and hygiene. Replacing the hygiene vault (the filter cup containing the filter element) is so easy that consumers can do it themselves in a matter of seconds:
Release the locking device, which also shuts off the water
Raise the lever and eject the hygiene vault automatically
Insert the new hygiene vault. Lower the lever. Lock. Ready!
And all in less than 30 seconds.
BWT has effectively mitigated the hygiene risks associated with conventional filters, as you no longer have to touch any parts that come into contact with the water! What's more, the E1 prevents splashing when replacing the hygiene vault and the water pipe does not run dry.
The BWT E1 filter is available as the E1 HWS (domestic water station) including pressure reducer or as the E1 EHF (single-lever filter) for applications without pressure reducer.

Many of our items have free delivery and where next-day delivery is shown we will endeavour to achieve this, as long as the order is placed before 1pm (11am for Towel Rails), is within the UK mainland and subject to stock availability.
We will email you an estimated delivery date either on receipt of your order or once it is processed. Where tracking information is available we will send that too once the order is dispatched.
We are often able to deliver to addresses outside the United Kingdom - please contact us if this is required for us to check and provide a quote. Alternatively, you can arrange for a courier to collect from our premises.
Medium and large items incur a delivery charge. If more than one medium or large items are ordered only one delivery charge will be applied. This will be displayed in the basket during checkout. Medium items are £27.30 and large items are £49.99 (including VAT). The delivery charge for the largest products - eg wall panels and worktops and some heavy ceramic items and shower trays - is £59.99. Please note we are not making a profit from this - we are using delivery services that have a track record of not breaking items and passing on the cost that we are charged.
We want all our customers to be happy with their purchases. Returns may be made within 14 days of delivery for unwanted goods or 30 days for faulty goods.
Please inspect goods as soon as possible after delivery. Damaged items MUST be reported immediately - or at least within 3 days. Delays reporting damage make resolving the issue much more difficult.

Please ensure that the goods returned are intact, unused and in the original undamaged packaging. Please be aware that some of our suppliers will ask for a restocking fee to accept returns. (Plumb-Warehouse will not charge a restocking fee - we will only pass on the supplier's fee).
