Designing Your Perfect Bath

What should you look for when choosing bath taps?

Your choice of bath tap is both a functional necessity and a defining style statement. Whether you are restoring a period property with authentic crosshead designs or creating a minimalist spa sanctuary with waterfall fillers, our collection is curated for longevity and aesthetic impact.

Core Bath Tap Categories

Bath Shower Mixers: The ultimate in versatility, these units combine a bath filler with an integrated handset—perfect for rinsing hair or cleaning the tub.
Deck-Mounted Fillers: The classic choice for most modern baths, available in single-lever monoblocs for quick control or traditional separate hot/cold valves.
Wall-Mounted Taps: Create a clean, uncluttered look by mounting your taps directly to the wall. This is a popular choice for freestanding baths or "boutique hotel" style designs.
Freestanding Bath Fillers: Specifically designed for use with roll-top or stone freestanding tubs, these floor-standing pillars create a stunning focal point in any room.

Technical Considerations Before You Buy

Water Pressure: Before purchasing, verify if your home is low-pressure (gravity-fed) or high-pressure (combi-boiler/mains-fed). Many designer taps require at least 0.5 to 1.0 bar to function correctly.
Tap Hole Compatibility: Check how many holes your bath is pre-drilled for. A standard bath usually takes two-hole (pillar) or monobloc taps, but some designs require custom drilling for individual components.
Valve Quality: Look for taps with ceramic disc cartridges. These are the industry standard for durability, providing a smooth "quarter-turn" operation that significantly reduces the risk of drips compared to old-fashioned rubber washers.
Finish & Maintenance: To keep your brassware looking new, always use a soft cloth and mild, pH-neutral soap. Avoid abrasive cleaning pads, especially on popular finishes like matte black, brushed brass, or copper.
