The BWT E1 filter is designed to provide high quality whole house filtration, effectively preventing particles such as rust and sand from entering your home's domestic water supply system. Unlike other filters on the market, the BWT E1 filter is easy to install and maintain, with a design that makes changing the filter element a simple and hassle-free process.

The filter features a single lever operation that shuts off the water supply, relieves any pressure, and releases the hygiene vault (the filter cup containing the filter element) in one simple action. This allows the filter element to be removed and recycled with your domestic waste, and a new filter can be easily inserted into the hygiene cup. The single lever can then be pulled down, locking the new filter in place and switching the water back on.

This approach ensures that the filter is changed regularly, maintaining the integrity of the filter system. By preventing particles such as rust and sand from entering your home's water supply, the BWT E1 filter helps protect your appliances and fixtures from damage, and ensures that your water is clean and safe to use.

BWT has effectively mitigated the hygiene risks associated with conventional filters, as you no longer have to touch any parts that come into contact with the water! What's more, the E1 prevents splashing when replacing the hygiene vault and the water pipe does not run dry.

The BWT E1 filter is available as the E1 HWS 40385 (domestic water station) including pressure reducer or as the E1 EHF 40382 (single-lever filter) for applications without pressure reducer.

Many of our items have free delivery and where next-day delivery is shown we will endeavour to achieve this, as long as the order is placed before 1pm (11am for Towel Rails), is within the UK mainland and subject to stock availability.

We will email you an estimated delivery date either on receipt of your order or once it is processed. Where tracking information is available we will send that too once the order is dispatched.

We are often able to deliver to addresses outside the United Kingdom - please contact us if this is required for us to check and provide a quote. Alternatively, you can arrange for a courier to collect from our premises.

Medium and large items incur a delivery charge. If more than one medium or large items are ordered only one delivery charge will be applied. This will be displayed in the basket during checkout. Medium items are £27.30 and large items are £49.99 (including VAT). The delivery charge for the largest products - eg wall panels and worktops and some heavy ceramic items and shower trays - is £59.99. Please note we are not making a profit from this - we are using delivery services that have a track record of not breaking items and passing on the cost that we are charged.

We want all our customers to be happy with their purchases. Returns may be made within 14 days of delivery for unwanted goods or 30 days for faulty goods. 

Please inspect goods as soon as possible after delivery. Damaged items MUST be reported immediately - or at least within 3 days. Delays reporting damage make resolving the issue much more difficult.

Please ensure that the goods returned are intact, unused and in the original undamaged packaging. Please be aware that some of our suppliers will ask for a restocking fee to accept returns. (Plumb-Warehouse will not charge a restocking fee - we will only pass on the supplier's fee).
